What You Can Do:
Be Aware | Spread Their Message
● Write your own letters and/or e-mails to your Senator, Congressmen & President urging them to take action.
House of Representatives
Senators
White House
● Be on the e-mail lists
This is the most helpful feature that activist-websites have. If you join the e-mail list at the various links I’ve added to the left, a lot of them will then notify you whenever a petition needs to be signed or whenever pressure needs to be added to a leader during key decision times. These petitions and letters will have the message field already filled in, you just have to add your name and e-mail address and it will be sent.
Here is an important one to sign!

You can also choose to add your e-mail to my own e-mail list. Whenever I receive details on an important event or petition that needs attention or signatures, I will let you know. I will also include you on my weekly e-mail updates. Send me a request here
Send e-mails to the media asking for more coverage on these issues.
Spread the word… Hold a house party, pass out flyers, tell their stories.

Also - I like their buttons. I got a 6" one to hang in my office. They say "I VOTE FOR DARFUR" which basically sends the message that regardless of who you are voting for, we want EACH of the candidates to know that THIS is our issue and it must be addressed. So order a button and wear it when you attend any political events, and especially when you go to vote.
